I made it 2/5 of the way on my quest to 10,000 unique feature-length films!
The 4000th film was "Strictly Ballroom" (1992) by Baz Luhrmann. It is a fun, festive and energetic story, filmed in Luhrmann's native Australia. Part of his Red Curtain Trilogy, Luhrmann takes the viewer on a wild ride into the world of ballroom dancing; it is a world Luhrmann knows well, because as a child, he was a ballroom dancer. Paul Mercucio, Tara Morice, Bill Hunter, Pat Thomson and Gia Carides bring endless vivacity, zest and witty romance to the silver screen.

Although it is a goal to see 10,000 unique feature-length films, it is not my goal to rush through it. I adore the journey. It is obvious I am obsessed with film and I enjoy the various worlds, stories, ideas, perspectives, thoughts, feelings, images and more. I look forward to the next films along the way.
