On our European travels with my wife, Amy, we made it a point to see a movie in Italy. After traveling through Rome and Florence, we ended our trip in Italy in Venice. The largest, and most known theater in Venice, was Circuito Cinema Rossini. Although it was a little difficult to find, we enjoyed "Solo: A Star Wars Story" (2018) in Italian. I could not speak Italian, but Amy could understand most of it.
This is not my first film in a foreign country. Back in 2011, when I was studying abroad in France, I saw "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb" (1964) at a Stanley Kubrick Exhibition in Paris, France.
We hope to see many more films in foreign countries.
